The rules for using this website, in plain English. Care itself is covered by a separate written agreement, not by this page.
Last updated 17 July 2026.
This page covers using our website. It is not the agreement for care. If we end up caring for your loved one, that is a separate written service agreement, signed by both of us, and it is the one that counts. Nothing you read or send here creates it.
The rest is below in plain English, because terms you cannot read are not really terms.
This site is not monitored around the clock. Do not use a form here to tell us about a fall, a medical emergency, or anyone in danger. Call 911. If it is urgent but not an emergency, call us on (713) 730-5017 and a person will answer.
Candor Living is a non-medical home care agency. Our caregivers do not provide nursing or medical services. Articles, FAQs and service pages on this site are general information written to help families think things through. They are not medical, legal, or financial advice, and they are not a substitute for talking to a doctor, nurse, or your own advisers. Decisions about your loved one's health belong with their clinicians.
You are welcome here. We ask only that you use the site honestly and lawfully: do not try to break it, scrape it, overload the forms, or use it to send anything abusive or untrue.
The site is for adults arranging care, applying for a caregiver role, or working with us as a referral partner.
Please give accurate details, so we call the right person back about the right situation. And please do not put medical records, Social Security numbers, or insurance policy numbers into a web form. If we need anything like that, we will ask for it a safer way. What we do with what you send is set out in our Privacy Policy.
If you leave a review, it must be your own genuine experience of Candor Living. By submitting it you give us permission to publish it on this site, with the name and details you provided.
Reviews are read by a person before anything appears, and we may decline or remove one, including anything false, abusive, or that names another client. If you would rather we did not publish yours, tell us and we will not.
Sending us your details through the Careers page is the start of a conversation, not an offer of employment. Hiring is subject to interview, references, background checks, and verification of any certification you hold.
We often place a caregiver within 24 hours of the first call, and we say so because it is usually true. It is a goal, not a promise. Actual timing depends on the care needed, where you are, and who is available that week. Our service area covers Houston and surrounding communities and can change.
Nothing on this website is a quote. We put rates in writing before care starts, based on what your loved one actually needs, and the written agreement is what governs the cost.
The words, design, and logo on this site belong to Candor Living Home Care Services. Please do not copy or reuse them without asking. Do quote a short passage with a link back if it helps a family, that is fine.
To be straightforward about it: the photographs on this site are illustrative. They are AI-generated or licensed stock images used to show the kind of care we provide. They are not photographs of actual clients or caregivers, and no one pictured is endorsing us. We protect our clients' privacy, so we do not publish their photographs.
Where we link somewhere else, we do not control that site and are not responsible for what it says or does.
We keep this website accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be correct, complete, or online. It is provided as is.
To the extent the law allows, Candor Living Home Care Services is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot legally be limited, and nothing here affects your rights under the service agreement if you are a client.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute belongs in the courts of Harris County, Texas.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the site means the current version applies.
Call (713) 730-5017 or email info@candorlivinghcs.com. If something here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it in plain words.
